1. It could be illegal and a prosecutable offence of Breach of Trust, Nuisance, Defamation, extortion, mischief etc.... ONLY IF it is going to violate any person /legal entity's Privacy, Confidentiality, Reputation, Good Will, Finances, etc....

Thanks, Hemant for your prompt response. Appreciate you taking the time to reply.

Is there a "way" to legalize this fully?

What are the facts? What is the context?

Moreover, it is not Hemant, but Mr.Hemant; it is the  etiquette to be followed in public platform.

Thanks for responding, Mr. Venu.

We're planning to start a new venture that would promote businesses' "Online reputation", ORM (Online Reputation Management). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reputation_management#Examples

Businesses can buy our various packages and we advertise / promote them amongst our vast pool of vendors (service providers) who receive the business details and use their products / services and then write a review / feedback on various platforms (Google, JustDial, FaceBook recommendation etc.) - for which they get a remuneration.

It's a gray area, we understand that. This is very prominent at a much larger level Enterprises, Politics, etc.

So the question was before we get started with the venture, we'd like to cover all possible legal angles.

Thanks again

Similarly you will have to equip your business with legal team to take care of all such questions/ queries /disputes,  which you could not avail as obligation at each and every time.

Of course, we're looking for someone with expertise in this area. That's why the question is posted here to hopefully connect with the correct legal professional.

Thank you
