Hello,

Police has no right to damage the property of person who commits the crime. The law is already there to punish the accsued.

It depends from one particular situations to another situations as the expert have responded. However, be it criminal or no criminal, it is the duty of police to protect the lives and property of the citizen and not to destroyed them.  It is like the saying, "Beauty is to see, not to touch, if to tiuch, not to crushed."
