Hello sir,
Yes, you can get the details of a land that has registered with the Public authorities under The Right to Information Act 2005.

Section 2(f) of the Right to Information Act defines the term information which means:-

“any material in any form, including records, documents, memos, e-mails, opinions, advices, press releases, circulars, orders, logbooks, contracts, reports, papers, samples, models, data material held in any electronic form”

This section allows a person to obtain various ownership related documents of the property with respect to a land dispute, fake land registration, encumbrance certificate, any land records describing boundaries, ownership and extent of possession

Transparency of the land records is the mandate as per the Right to Information Act 2005 and
Public Records Act, 1993. In fact, this is also the objective behind the statutory responsibility of voluntarily disclosing the information under section 4(1)(b) of the RTI Act.

In the case of Mr Surendar Pal Singh vs. Government of NCT of Delhi (2014), RTI was filed seeking information about the number of plot owners, the extent of plot allocation to each plot holder and area of land used by the plots. The Central Information Commission held that the land records with names of different owners giving details of boundaries, and the extent of land owned or possessed by the public authority, is neither private information nor third party information

Hope I was able to solve your query
Thanks & Regards
Nihal
