money matter

sir ,I gave my money to my friend rs 30000
for booking a flight ticket...but he isn't book my ticket and even he is nit returning my money...and saying "do whatever you want to do"
so I have decided to complaint about this in police station...
so, suggest me sir what should I do in this matter...
plz help sir...

file an complaint on him under ipc 420 for cheating...

1) If payment is made by check, some acknowledgement of debt is there either Summary Suit or Regular Suit can also be filed.
2) 420 case can also be filed.

As you have said you have given 30000 rupees to your friend to book a flight ticket for you and now hes hasnt booked the ticket and now declining your request to return your money,As i far i know it attracts sec 17 of Indian Contract Act ie, Fraud, so you can register a case against him on that or in IPC sec420.

According to my opinion try it later lodging a case against him apart from it make a moral pressure on him to treturn your money.
