Oral agreement for sale is very much valid.

Sale deed has to be in writing and registered compulsorily.

It depends on "sale of what?" - Few movable properties and all immovable properties are cumpulsorily registrable in such cases oral sale is NOT valid - other than those are valid.

in my case oral sale of a immovable properties. (which was in my possession for last 15 years,tax paid by me and patta also in my name )

oral sale of immovable property is not valid. u should execute sale deed before registrar.
