Dear Sir,
I am Working for the Department of Correctional Administration, Government of West Bengal for last 10 years. The activities of the Department are done as per West Bengal Correctional Services Act,1992. My question is that only the Post of Welfare Officer is not given any Promotional Scope rather as per the act there should be Promotional post of Chief Welfare Officer. Whereas other posts of officers of the department are given regular promotion as well new promotional posts at Higher Officer level are created for last few years. The situation is like that Welfare Officers are Staying as Welfare Officers upto retirement and Junior Officers are getting seniority......What should be right steps to be taken, please suggest..
