Are you Hindu?  If Hindu, it is not valid as per Hindu customs in most areas.

Are you aware that as per Hindu customs she is related as your "mother" ?

Generally in certain areas only direct  paternal side relationship is taken into consideration .

Contact a local advocate and go for a registered marriage.
