Minimum tenure of leave & license agreement

I am the landlord of a flat( Licensor), My leave & licensee agreement is getting expired on 2019, but my Licensee's wife is pregnant, on humanitarian ground he wants 6 months more time after March 2019, If I make a new Leave & License agreement for 6 months only, will it be valid ?
