Trial court disobeys high court

In a tenancy case the Trial Court in blatant disregard of the High Court's orders for speedy disposal within 6 months posts the next date after four months. The suit is far from over and hearing has just started. It is suspected that the tenant's side has bribed Court personnel to get a favourable date after many months. What are the landlord's options in the given scenario?

An application can be made to the High Court after six months. However the lower Court has to attend the previous pending cases before it

Such attitude of a Court below is not common.

I agree with the first sentence of the Reply of Shri Kishore Mehta.

Unfortunately it has happened. However I have been advised to file an application before the Trial Court immediately. Maybe Ld. Judge is not aware of the date. But date once given can it be changed?

Yes, the date can be preponed by Trial Court on an oral request/written application.
