conveyance means transfer of ownership of property.

such transfer may be in the form of Gift, Sale, Exchange or Will.

so Sale is a kind of conveyance.

section 54 of the Transfer of property act defines the term sale.

 Conveyance means transfer of some or other rights in the property in favour of other person like, sale, exchange, gift, mortgage etc. whereas sale is one of the mode of conveyance.
