Mentally handicapped

 If mentally handicapped person has to get his share what are the requirements? Who certifies disability?

medical authorities decide the disability and such disabled person can sue or can be sued through his next friend.

Superintendent of Mental Hospital certifies and issues mentally handicapped certiftcate. Dependent certificate / succession certificate, Gurdian's Affidavit.

Mentally retardation certiftcate, Dependent certificate / succession certificate, Gurdian's Affidavit.

Superintendent of Mental Hospital certifies and issues Mental retardation certificate.

Need not necessarily go to Mental hospital for certificate - You can approach your local DMHO (District Medical and Health Officer) he can issue disability certificate and there is a procedure for it in AP.   For other states, plz find the information from your Dist. Hospital.
