Change of name in monthly maintenance bill

Last year I have purchased a property in Thane. Property is on the name of my wife & myself (wife is first holder & myself is second holder). Share certificate is also transffered to us. But on the maintenance receipt, society is still printing the name of old member. Last year i gave him an application to change change the name on the reciept but still i has not done.

Please suggest what we can do next?

Have you mutated your names in concerend revenue records relating to the said property, after the purchase,if not,do it immeadiately first,otherwise in records,the previous owner would remain as owner of the property in question,that was the reason,you have not been issued maintenance receipt in your name.

Thanks for your reply..can you please explain it to me in brief. In all the property related document like sales agreement, Society share cert...meself & my wife name is there. Because of some issues, all the transactions of society is handled by Registrar. I submitted the application to them. But still no reply.
