High court appeal procedure

I would like to know from the learned experts what is the time period within which we can appeal in the High Court against an order passed. Is it from the the date the certified copy is prepared or from the date the certified copy is given to the applicant and from then on how many days to apply in the high court. Please let me know because i am so confused with the information i got from my lawyer regarding this situation.

1. From the date of receipt if certified copy.

2. Consult a lawyer OR post details abt the Order.

Whatever the time for that case as per law. You get grace for the duration taken to process the certified copy.

Even after all, courts still consider appeals after due period if they find the reasons satisfactory. Courts have the discretion to condone delay on merits.

With the details you have given this much only can be said.

Yes Mr Manoj sir is quite correct but it also depends on merit of the delay to be given grace period.

It can be correctly mentioned by the members, if and only if you provide what type of case from which the appeal arise from
