the notional income in MV Act is 1500 p.m. previously in sec-125 Cr.P.C the maximum award was 1500 p.m but now there is no lmit of the quanta and the OP is to pay minimum 3000 p.m. this means even an unemployed person is supposed to earn 3000 pm.in this backdrop should not the notional income be increased?

but both the provisions have different interpretations and different scope.

In motor accident claims the injury sustained should always be co-related to the avocation of the injured to assess the degree of disability or loss of earning capacity as the case may be.
