Dear friends,
A is well known personality, he is mla of the contituency. One news paper used to publish defamatory statements, afecting the prestige. Because of the work load he can not file case for defamation before the cout. whether some one interested can file the complaint?

the answer is NO.
third person has not locus standi to file such a complaint.
