Hi,
I have a power-of-attorney from my family member which is legally notarized and registered. This is reg a property transaction.
While getting it notarized, we had to use correction fluid on the "Witnesses area", to accommodate 2 witness's signature and their address. After that it was duly notaried and registered.
My questions are following:
- Is it legally permitted to use correction marker on a POA, specifically for the witnesses area?
- How do I prove that these corrections were done before notarization and not afterwards? Or does it matter at all, given that the actual POA contents are untouched. Should there be an initial made by POA giver at the correction area?
