Dear Sir,

Your question No.1.

suppose a FIR is made by a women against her husband and his family at a police station,

has police the right to come and arrest the person named in the FIR?

Yes. Police can arrest the persons accused for the cognizable offences unless they obtain anticipatory bail from the competent court of law.

Your question No.2.

if the arrest made is not legal and beyond the right of police then how to tackle these situation?

You can challenge the arrest before the concerned High Court and even claim for compensation for unlawful arrest.

For any clarification, you can contact me on 9842197857.
