Pls help!!!Divorce was done 2 weeks back but still waiting for the divorce certificate from Mumbai court.

it takes time, in the issue of certificate.ont panic..itll come ,a month may take..need more expert advice though..

Thank u for ur reply Aishwarya... 1 month is okay..but what can be the maximum waiting period? Can it be more than a month in Mumbai court?

it takes some time.
first judgement is passed - then divorce decree (divorce certificate - as u call it) is issued.

Usually a month. It depends upon the workload with the concerned Court. If Advocate prepare ready made, word to word, printed Petition, in form of Decree, and the Court Staff accept it, Then Judge will sign it, and on applying for certified True Copy of this DECREE DRAWN , it can be issued to you within a week. OILING WORKS FASTER EVERYWHERE.
