Medical records of deceased person

I would like to get the medical records of my deceased father to contest the will. Is there a legal provision to do so?

Was he admitted in a Hospital and died in Hospital then you could have made a application to the Hospital concerned to get the treatment file which would have contained all the details along with the death summary.

In any other case no one normally has any medical records the treatment prescripttions are always with the family members what other medical record can you get
