Dear Sir,
How many days or months will take to claim the graduity money after resignation. My company is negotiated by another company and now they are telling the employees to resign and settling their graduity money. I am already resigned on february 24, 2011, please let me know how many days will take to claim the amount.

Under the provisions of the Payment of Gratuity Act, an employer is liable to make payment of gratuity within 30 days from the date of termination of serices of an employee.
