Are we sure that orders of maintenance end a wife's woes?

NOTE-This actor is a rich man.But court ordered only Rs. 10,00 pittance maintenance to his wife 10 yrs. back.Even this pittance is not being paid.See how insensitive the judge and this ex-hubby are.

Yet we say maintenance laws are highly beneficial for women!

Raghuvir Yadav summoned to appear in court on February 28

New Delhi, Feb 2 : A local court has issued notices to Bollywood actor Raghuvir Yadav to appear before it on February 28 for not paying alimony to his estranged wife Purnima.

On Monday, Purnima claimed before Metropolitanm Magistrate Sunena Sharma (Karkardooma Court) that she was yet to receive the full maintainance amount, which was fixed by the court in 2000 as Rs 10,000 per month.

Yadav, who had virtually gone missing, was last arrested on June 3, 2010 from Mumbai Central railway station in the case.

The actor got married to Purnima in 1988 and seperated in 1995.

Since then, despite court directions to pay Rs 10,000 per month, he failed to pay maintenance for Purnima and their son Achal.

The case is pending in the Karkardooma Court and will now come up for hearing on February 28.

Poornima said Yadav had taken court orders in a lighter vein and refused to pay her the money. The court has also started proclaimation proceedings against him.

The actor sold off his house in Mumbai and bought a new one worth Rs 1.5 crore in Oberoi Woods Goregaon in the name of his second wife Roshini, to show that he himself does not own any property, Purnima claimed.

1. A husband has RCR in his favour. Wife does not abide by RCR decree. Does RCR decree in favour of husband amounts to end a husband's woes?

A Wife's needs when husband leaves her are "maintenance are as her rightssahi hai kya yeh
A Husbands needs when wife leaves him are "restitution of his conjugal rights" aab kya yeh sahi nahi hai

Que.:
1.1
Agar nahi to kyu?
1.2 Que. same footing wala kyu nahi hai ?
1.3 Kya dono ki needs different nahi ho sakati ?
1.4 Kya dono eik type ke banaya nahi hai ishwar ney?
1.5 Fir yeh bhed bhav kyu!

However, my take on your this news post is that; the day maint. is awarded her woes starts and before that all that happened was only “trailer of things to come for a very very long time be it for a firangi wife and or an Indian wife" and practically there is no difference here and people who married both sets at one point of time and now story is different know will agree to me on this personal as in my personal point rest may show their 'legal and not social' reasoning.

Tajobsindia takes men for men and women for women attitude. In this specific case, as reported, the ex-husband is clearly in the wrong. Cases should be viewed as they are. Tendency to draw general conclusions should be avoided.
