1.It is not necessary to take permissin from the police station.

2.You have to register with the Local Head Post Master in a prescribed format i.e., in Form No:1 of The Cable Television Networks(regulation) act, 1995 along with the prescribed fees.  No person shall operate a cable television network unless he is registered as a cable operatior under the act.

After registration you have to follow the conditions:

1. Programme Code ( nothing in this section shall apply to the programmes of foreign satelite channels which can be received without the use of any specialised gadgets or decoder.)

It is not necessary to take the permission from the co-operative society to lay cable from the building, but they may resist.

Much has been advised by Ld. brother Mr. Rajeev. Apart from procedures, you may like to note that disputes if any can be resolved in TDSAT (Telecom Disputes Settlement & Appellate Tribunal), New Delhi for resolving intra party or inter-party disputes involving MSOs and COs.

thanks for reply,

my problem is, i had cable connection with paid an advance yearly fee. because of depute between two cable connector, they disconnected my connection. actualy cable operator is same but the agent or connection boys has despute between them. cable operator is not taking responsibility. what i shall do? can i ask to produce register, is it complessry to ive recipt ith registrion. where i can get details about them?

does there are specifications for laying cable across / over road, across electricity line. pls specify act or rule.
