U can execute a Deed of correction and register it ....

It is better to execute a fresh agreement and register it to avoid unnecessary complications.

Correction Deed is the best course.
You can give complete language of your agreement (after making needed corrections) in this fresh document of Correction Deed i.e. after siting your earlier registered contract.
Such a document does not nullyfy your earlier contract, nor you will have to pay large Stamp Duty (if chargable on registration of original contract).
