Working hours

1.I'm working for bpo company. We are working 9 hours a day including break 8 hours + 1 hour is it correct? But we are working 14 days for 3 days week off. It's a big confusion from the beginning do we have to get every week double off? 2. Management saying employees should not use camera mobile phone at production floor. But if management decide can give permission for some one. It's correct or not but we can use basis mobile phones we are not sure about this kindly explain which is correct what should we do if you have any act document please attach

BPO are covered by Shops & Estbs Act of the state.

There might be employee'sunion of your sector in your/other states and affilliated with Trade Unions.

The united employee's are properly infomed or atleast have basic knowledge and understanding.

So; Try and unite.

There should be break after 5 hours.

Probbaly you are working for 8hrs/day and in between you get comfortable 1 hrs break.

It is perfectly in order and compliance of Shops & Estbs Act/Rules.

Work hours are=8/day & 48/week.

Beyond which OT applies.

 

And theree is capping on OT hours.

Look into Shops & Estbs Act/Rules of your state.

After 6days work employee gets one weekly off.

Employer can provide better T&C in employment than the provisions of applicable enactments e.g; Shops & Estbs Act/Rules.............but can not provide inferior benefits than provided for in applicable enactments e.g; Shops & Estbs Act/Rules.........

 

Look into Shops & Estbs Act/Rules of your state.
