I have purchased a plot and it was registered. But we came to knew that plot falls in another survey instead of survey number moentioned in the document. Couple of people along with me lost heir plots. Seller is no more.
My Query : As witness knew the fact that plots were shown in another survey. I would like to know as witness had put signature in the couple of documents along with my document. Can we file a criminial case against witness as he had put signature in couple of documents.

get hold of LRS of seller and get it rectified, prosecuting witness will not solve problem.

Yes Shrenik.Witness knew this and he had put signature as witness in all the documents and ultimately everyone has lost their plots.
Can we file criminal case against witness. Please suggest.

Your case is very dicey so you need to be very witty in finding the best solution. yes you can very well file a criminal case against the witness , provided you have a proof that at the time of executing the sale deed the witness had knowledge that the land was falling in another survey number and not the one as mentioned in the executed document.
