Withdraw FIR complaint

Hi,

My brother committed suicide on 15 Dec 2015 and accused her wife as a reason. Police did not file FIR. We went to the court in Jan 2016 and filed the application under 156(3). Judge has heard argument multiple times but is not giving decision. It has been more than 1 year but still no judgement for FIR has come.

Can I withdraw my complaint for FIR? If yes , please suggest the process.

Will there be any action on me by the court?

Please suggest.

Hello Karan,

Dont withdraw your petition.  Its just round the corner.  Magistrate will order police to register FIR regarding this.

Have patience,

You can meet the judge in his chambers and appraise him of the matter.

But be brief. Speak for just 20-30 seconds and not more than that.

During lunch hour, towards the last 20 minutes of lunch hour.

Speak, request to do the needful and exit.
