Who can represnt an asessee not keeping well

This assessee is a senior citizen who has not been keeping well wrt memory probelm due to age and stroke resulting in paralysis.Now only family memebers can answer the notice of IT deptt regarding escaping of income u/s 148.Who will represent him in further proceedings?Should answers to notice be given on his behalf and get signed by him too that he does not remember much now
