What if postman deliberately writes

# 1 / PS-7

'Speed Post'; 'Registered Post' etc are used in correspondences. What if postman deliberately:

1. Certifies / writes 'Person is not available / left the address etc'?

2. Does not deliver the consignment to the party?

3. What if the party has moved to a new address & had furnished that old address years ago?

4. What if the party has informed the postman of the new address, but the post is not redirected / delivered at the new address?

you have to bring to the notice of Senior Supdt Post Office to take appropriate action against the postman.

Did you take endorsement from Post Master on your copy as proof of issuance of complaint. You should also mark copy to Senior Supdt of Postoffice. sometimes email will work but not always. Its better to lodge written complaint under proper acknowledgement.

Now they have separate Grievance redressal system , immediately post the grievance in their on line portal 'indiapost' and the problem can be resolved maximum within 7 days.

First collect those documents/admissions that establish the negligence and then go for complaint before District Consumer forum and as well as the postal employee
