Dear Sir,
I have very low income that is almost Rs.25000 per year; can I still file nil return for this.Actually I want to file return inspite of very low income but if i file return whether income tax department will accept this or reject this or fine me for that. Kindly help on this issue.

Salaried employees earning up to Rs 5 lakh a year will not be required to file income tax returns from this year,even though if you file, no problem. no tax, no penalty.

Yes, you can file on-line return if you have requirement,. There is no restriction of Income to file on-line return .
