Mr Raman,

Your mother can transfer the house in your name by way of a simple registered gift deed. It is the safest method without any hassles. If she wants she can have life interest in the house viz. the property will devolve upon you only after her death.

ya i agree with mr vishal sir ,

raman ur mother can transfer the property through the gift deed .but in this u paid a stamp duty .

in other hand ur mother make a "will"in favour of you,but the will is inforced by after the death of testator .

i think ur query is solved by the answer
