Tax on one time alimony

Dear Friends , I would like to know the Income tax applicable / non applicable on one time permanent alimony received by wife upon Divorce decree by mutual consent.

Arun ji settlemetn alimony is exeumpted from any kind of tax liability.

Thanks Adv.Bharat ji , Also guide me process for 1) receiving above alimony money by wife thru court. 2) how does court collects money fm husband and trf to wife , 3) how much time fram in general it takes for the court to pay to wife after divorce decree. 4) finally is there any tax on husband for paying alimony to wife.
