Tax Remittance Query

Dear Sir,

I had started a partnership firm in march 2010 and was issued a pan card for the same. There was TDS deposited during FY 2010-2011 on the same, while converting the firm from Partnership to proprietership firm I had to cancel my PAN card along with my registration. Can you please let me know whether the TDS can be transferred to either my personal PAN or the new PAN issued for the firm.

Any help will be much apreciated.

Regards,
Daljeet Singh

You may verify the from no. 26AS, which is provided by NSDL site and verify how much TDS has been tagged to your Firms pan and how much with Individual pan, based on the available quantum of TDS whcih has been remitted by the Tax deductor, you can claim accordingly.

Dear Mr. Sastry,

I think you havent understood my question.

All the amount was tagged to my firm's PAN card but that has been closed now, how do I claim the deposited TDS, whom should I approach.
