As Subramanyam Swami is not qualifed lawyer, how he can be said to be eligible as per Advocates Act, 1961. He is fighting the case in court for others (Like Aasaram Bapu).

ask Mr Swamy.

1. I think even the judicray does not know whether Mr. Swamy is member of State Bar Association.

2. You can write an R.T.I. to the Bar Council Of India and get to know about the real facts.

Order III Rule 1 of CPC states that a party can either appear in person, by recognised agent or pleader. In all probablities, if Mr. Swamy is not a registered practitioner of law having a license of practice from any of the State Bar Councils, then he will be appearing as a GPA Holder or representative of the parties. However, it is only guess work and the best person to answer the question is Mr. Swamy only.

He has been appearing as Party in Person and representative.

If he can't appear as per any laws then court alone can deny permission.
