Student loan thribbled the principle amount

Hi, Am  Keerthi i have a loan from SBT in 2004 due to non affliation matter my BE studies stopped in the second year

the bank gave me first installment of Rs 30000/ for the fees, after that i informed the bank i discontinued the course dont the sent the money to the college. they requested me to sign some papers every year i paid some small amount at the time . but now am willing to pay the amount as onetime settlement , they are not willing to reduce my loan amount now the amount is about Rs 90000 or above actuall figure dont know. i gave my land as guarantee so they are not calling me for the adalat. one advacate told me there is no right to repay double of principle amount is it true?

suggest me some ways to reduce my loan

Thanks
