Structure ownership

My father owns a piece of Land at Dombivali which he leased out for 35 years. Lease built a structure and sub leased out to several Tenants. Now my father is expired and I transfered the said land on me and my kids name. The said lease is over now and lease is also expired. No one came forward to claim ownership of the structure.

I need help finding out now who owns the structure? Do sub tenants have any right on the land / or as tenants?

Municipalty has declaired that this building is old and unsafe for occupation and issued notices to all the tenants to vacate the place. Muncipality also demolished part of the building for road widening. Muncipalty never gave me any notices or compansitation for demolishing part of the building or taking land for widening the road. I like to know what are my rights  and how to go about it?   Thanks for your guidence

Dear Mahesh Mukhdam

Immediately, approach a local lawyer with all relevant documents,

so that you can file a petition for payment of compensation, for also claiming the remaining land in your favour.
