It is clear that no Indian Lawyer who is enrolled under Indian advocate Act could involve in any other business or service except legal practice.
However, I am curious to know as to what is the legal status of professionals (Lawyers) who are working in various LPO’s (Legal Process Outsourcing)?
Do all Legal employees (Lawyers) surrender their licence before joining these LPO’s or there is not necessity to surrender. Or Do they breach law under Advocate's Act if not surrender their respective adocate llicences to Bar council.
