Pursuant to the Notification dated 23rd November, 1963 published in Calcutta Gazette on 25th December, 1963, Deed of Pledge is exempted from payment of Stamp Duty.
So Kindly let me know whether Stamp Duty is applicable on the Deed of Pledge or not and if it is exempted from levy of Stamp duty kindly provide the copy of the Notification dated 23rd November, 1963.
