Special marriage act

Hello,

I have a question related to Special Marriage Act. I live in Mumbai I am  an Indian, My Fiance is American citizen she is coming next month we want to marry according to special marriage act.

Is it possible to apply for marriage now in her absence because it takes about 30 days waiting period, so by the time she arrives india we can do the court marriage?
