I wanted to find out the procedure to set up & register an Agro Firm for one of my clients who want's to start mushroom & vegetable farming in Ratnagiri Dist Maharashtra.
Is it then possible to buy Agricultural Land for this purpose & how much area can one buy complying to the norm's of the Agro Industry .
Since Agricultural Land can only be bought by people of the farming community .
& people, other than the farming community want to diversify into Agro & horticulture & make adequate use of the land .
Will it be possible to set up an agro firm buy land & register it for Trade.
What are the licenses required to do so .
Do they have to procure Trade & Establishment License & register at the Food & Drug .
Pls guide as to all the procedures & precautions to set up an Agro Business . Also what is the Property Tax on Agricutural Land In Maharashtra , Ratnagiri for example.
