Hi,
I am planning to start "Security Agency". As per my plan initially I will only provide service to residential buildings.
I want to know whether I can start providing service without any registration or license. In future if my business grows (employee strength 15-20), then I will register my company and take a license.
Kindly let me know what are the prerequisite for starting a new Security Agency Business.
Please help & Suggest!!

regardless of the business size, basic requirements such as Shop and Establishment license, various licenses etc have to be obtained. What you are saying is not correct legally! registration with Service tax dept etc. Please consult a indirect taxes lawyer for the same.

The activity comes under
Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005
There are lot of procedures to be followed as per the Act. You can not simply start even initially.
