need to know how to seek details abt passport

Write a simple letter to the concerned Central Public Information Officer of the Passport office .Make a request for the information required .you are to inform that you are a Citizen of India and enclose with request a postal order for Rs t en only.you are to further inform that you will further pay the charges for photocopies etc if requirred .Donot fail to give your complete Postal Address.
