RTI Act applies only to Govt depts.

An establishment has to maintain  and submit many registers prescribed under applicable enactments; e.g;

Shops & Estbs Rules framed under  Shops & Estbs Act

That contains everything about employe e.g; DOJ/LWD/Reason for leaving etc etc 

e.g;

FormN under Tamilnadu Shops & Estbs Rules

If RTI is being preferred by you pursue thru Inpsectorate.

Or the Inpspector appointed under the Act can help you.

The employee's/trade unions leaders, GRC,WC and a very able counsel specializing in Labor/service matters can help you.

You may also attempt to get certified copy of Service Card if applicable to you.
