Right to ancestral property for son after adoptin

My brother gave away his son in adoption to his maternal grandfather, when he was a minor. The boy inherited the property from adopted father, after atttaining majiority. Then again my brother gave him some landed property out of his own share in ancestral property,by a will, duly approved by civil court by a probate. Now this son(adopted),is claiming his share in the remaing immovable property of my brother.

Does he have a right to claim such share now?

No. Once given in adoption, he lost all the realtionship with the biological family. He is not a legal heir and can not claim any share
