Right of married woman in ancestral property

Does a married woman has a right over ancestral property of her husband,who is alive?

Agreed.No forced share.Her husband's share may eventually devolve upon her .

Married woman's property rights come through her husband and only after the demice of her husband where he has died intestate ( With out Will or family Settlement) thw widow can claim her share equal to the other class one heir lineage. Other wise not.

In your case she do not have any claim in the ancestral property of her husband during the life time of her husband and only when he dies intestate. Husbad has full right on his property as to whom he wants to give or not including his wife also.

Though in USA she has a right of 50 % over the property of her husband either ancestral or self earned subject to the intestate death of her husbad.
