Revocation of poa

Hi,

I assigned one of my relatives  as my power of attorney when i reside outside of india .This General power of attorney has been registered on sub registrar office ,Tamilnadu.I am in india now and would like to revoke my POA.

Please clarify my questions below.

1.Destroying the original POA document -will that be enough for revocation or do we need to register the revocation letter?
2.In case i destroy the original document and If some one gets a certified copy of POA from sub-registrar office, can they treat it as original for future transactions?
3.Since i am in india, can i register a property without revocating the POA? Will both attorney and i have same rights?
4.In case my attorney registers a  property on my behalf, does he need to present the original Genera POA to sub-registrar for each  registration? or the copy of POA is enough?

Thanks and waiting for your clarification.

Regards,
Ramesh.
