Hi, I booked a delivery / shipping company to transport a tabletop with other things from hyderabad to Delhi.
I was charged 2K including 2% for shipping insurance & promised tracked 7 day delivery.
They took 13 days, tracking number didn't work. And the table top was scraped. It's unusable.
Ignored emails, 20 phone calls later I assume I am within my rights to recovery the cost of my order + shipping charges? That is 10+2K.
I documented every thing. They even admit they own me compensation on a phone conversation. Before they ignored subsequent emails and never answered a call.
Where do I go from here?
You need to go through the way bill,there are terms and condition and if you find any such nothing against those terms and conditions and you have mentioned on the acknowledgement while receiving the goods about delay and damage then proceed in the consumers forum otherwsie not...
