I have an agent in Chile whom I need to pay commsion for export services rendered in Chile . I am being told I will have to deduct TDS as there is no double taxation treaty between India and Chile. Can somebody please confirm this?

Yes India does not have a DTAA with Chile.

Does it mean I ahve to deduct TDS? How can the agent take credit of this?
