every states has their own minimum wages act and weather u covered under shop and estibilishment act or industrial Act, ?

Yes, every state has its own guidelines to pay manimum wages for different categories of workers/employees depending on the nature of skilled, semi skilled or un skilled.

For Delhi, it is Rs. 203, Rs. 225, or Rs. 248 for unskilled, semiskilled and skilled  Building construction workers.

     

These figures are as per  Delhi: Minimum Wages w.e.f. February 1, 2010

Minimum wages is determined by Sinla Labour Bureau based on CPI ( consumer price index )of that particular area & notify  to the different states govts and accordingly state Govt publish notification mentioning the rate , industry and area. This rate normally valid for 6 month. Labour deptt of the state gove is responsible for this notification.
