If Gratuity is not paid to a Retired Employee even after one year, what will be the procedure/action to be taken for release of Gratuity?? Please enlighten.

A compliant has to be filed before the Controlling authority or the Labour Enforcement Officer for the recovery of the gratuity.

The Payament of Gratuity Act, 1972 comes under the Preview of the Controlling authority either the Asst. Labour Commissioner.
Madam, if you see the recent Judgment of the SC than it will be clarifed.
