Amendment of the plaint

After the filing of counter, is it possible to amend the plaint?

you can very well amend the plaint.  There is no bar.

Pleadings can be amended at any stage of the proceedings.

Yes under Or 6  Rule 17 C.P.C the plaint can be permitted to amend
